Project Overview
Equip the rapidly growing church networks to translate and distribute Open Bible Stories. Open Bible Stories will be translated into Farsi (Persian) as well as 11 local languages and distributed in text and audio formats. The existing Farsi translation will be completed checked and updated to bring parity with the latest English source.
Tara’s first experience with the Bible in her language was with the book of Job. Up to that point, her life had been so difficult, she said, “It felt like I had written it. It felt like they were my words. I had lost everything.”

Pray for the citizens of Iran
“Walking the streets is no longer an act of courage. It is an act of suicide.” The brutality with which the government dealt with protestors saw tens of thousands killed in the streets and tens of thousands more incarcerated, expecting torture and execution. Pray for the people of Iran to personally encounter the love and power of Christ in their lives; for the Christians to rise with courage, for the lost to be saved, for the perpetrators to repent, and for the nation to be redeemed.
