Thanks to the first-ever translation of unfoldingWord® Open Bible Stories into another Iranian language, twenty people have come to Christ, and a new house church has been launched in Iran.

While helping the translation team, a woman who speaks a hard-to-reach language read the stories and decided to follow Jesus. Then, she shared her new faith with others. Soon, her husband followed Christ. Then another friend, and another. Together, they began sharing the Bible stories with others, and they, too, felt moved to follow Jesus.

Now, the couple has started a small church in their home. Every week, they get together with others to read the Bible stories, learn more about God, and worship together. “We’re all praying and praising God in our language now!” they said.

More than two million Iranians speak this language. God’s work through translated Open Bible Stories is changing lives!
