Charles Z of Benin has been trying to share the gospel of Christ with his Muslim neighbors since 1999. unfoldingWord equips him and his colleagues with the Strategic Language Resources they need to translate God’s Word faster than ever before.

Charles’ interest in Bible translation arose the week before he heard of unfoldingWord. He was interpreting at a celebration service for a traditionally translated New Testament; there he learned that it took 20 years to complete the project. “I was really shocked and asked myself, ‘How will we reach our people if it takes that long?’” The next week, he heard a presentation by unfoldingWord and realized he had found the answer.
